When it comes to creating, my interests usually lay in minimalism and abstraction. Most of my pieces are investigations into minimal color palettes, texture, and to some extent they are an exploration into the chaos of random mark making.
I have recently attempted to explore, through abstraction, the different aspects of rural life that stood out to me as a child growing up. Also, playing with association, I have become interested in portraits of animals intended to represent varying components of my life.
